Andie Clift Counselling

Life experiences can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected from ourselves, or struggling to cope in the ways we once could.
I believe counselling offers a safe and compassionate space to explore those experiences, understand ourselves more deeply, and begin to heal.
My approach is warm, empathic and non-judgemental, and I work collaboratively with each person as an individual.
Some clients come wanting to talk openly, while others may initially find things difficult to put into words. Therapy moves at your pace, and there is no expectation to share more than feels safe or manageable.
I Believe in You...
& Me...

I am an experienced integrative counsellor, originally trained in person-centred therapy, and qualified since 2011. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
Alongside this, I have undertaken additional training in other therapeutic approaches and may draw upon different skills and techniques depending on your individual needs.
I have several years of specialist experience working with trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, relationships, addiction, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.
I also recognise the impact that earlier life experiences and attachment wounds can have on us as adults, and where appropriate may incorporate aspects of inner child work into therapy.
Sessions are offered online via secure video link, allowing me to work outside of standard 9 to 5 hours, and with adults throughout the UK.
I believe that counselling should be available to all, but am aware that financial circumstances can be a barrier to this, my sessions are therefore charged at a competitive rate of £40 for a therapeutic hour.
If experiencing financial hardship please contact me for availability of further concessions.
